About ScreenSift
An independent, source-checked publication for people choosing and using AI video tools.
What ScreenSift is
ScreenSift is an independent, English-language publication about AI video tools. We read official product, pricing, migration, and policy pages, record when we read them, and explain what the published details mean for someone deciding whether to subscribe, switch, or wait.
The site exists because the deciding details in this category are easy to miss. A headline price can depend on an annual commitment, a credit allowance can expire every month, and a plan card can disagree with the comparison table below it. We bring those details together and keep the source link next to each claim.
What we cover
Our coverage starts from a concrete decision rather than a product announcement. So far it follows Everygen, formerly Viewmax: the rename briefing explains what the provider says carried over, the Everygen AI review covers features and credit rules, the pricing breakdown lists every plan and credit tier, and the alternatives guide compares other workflows against their official price pages.
The questions we work on fall into four groups:
- Pricing and credits: monthly and annual billing, credit refreshes, and the limits attached to each plan.
- Alternatives: which other tools address the same job, with each option’s own price page cited.
- Source-checked reviews: what a tool publicly offers, and what remains unverified.
- Product changes: renames, plan changes, and new models, dated to the day we checked them.
What we have not done
ScreenSift has not hands-on tested the products we cover. We have not generated videos, measured output quality or speed, completed a checkout, or migrated an account. When an article describes a capability, it is attributing a published claim, not reporting a result.
If we add hands-on testing in the future, the article will say exactly what was tested, when, and on which plan. Until then, every article carries a “What we checked” note that states the scope of its evidence.
Who writes ScreenSift
Articles carry the byline “ScreenSift Editorial”. The byline identifies the publication as a whole. We do not invent reviewer personas, credentials, or a team size to make the coverage look more authoritative than its evidence.
Each article shows the date its sources were last checked. Our methodology explains how a check is done, how prices are presented, and how missing details are labeled.
Independence
ScreenSift is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the products we cover. We do not accept payment for a ranking, a review conclusion, or a place in a comparison.
As of October 3, 2026, the site carries no advertising, affiliate links, or sponsored placements. If that changes, we will disclose it in the funding section of our methodology and next to any affected link.
Get in touch
Spotted an error, a price change, or a source we missed? The contact page explains what to send. Corrections that change a fact are made in the article itself, and the update date changes only after the affected information has been checked again. How we handle analytics data is described in our privacy policy.
